Bertice C. Woods, 91 formerly of Indian River, died Wednesday, Jan. 24 [2001] at St. Louis, MO.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Oakhill Cemetery in Indian River.
The family suggests memorials to Indian River Baptist Church.
Arrangements were made by the Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River.

Mary E. Carpentier
Mary Eileen Carpentier, 52 of Oak Harbor, WA and formerly of Indian River, died March 9 [2001] in Oak Harbor, WA.
Her memorial services were held March 16 at the Oak Harbor Assembly of God Church. A private inurnment will be held at Ohioville Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor, Washington.

Suzanne S. Lewis
Suzanne Sibley Lewis, 85 of Mullett Lake, died May 24 [2001] at Bortz Health Care in Petoskey.
Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River cared for the family.

Harvey R. Rowe
Harvey R. Rowe, 78 of Indian River, died Thursday, May 24 [2001] at Hospice House in Cheboygan.
His graveside service was held Tuesday, May 29 at West Burlington Cemetery in North Branch, MI.
The family suggests memorials to Shriners Crippled Children's Fund or the Hospice of the Straits.
Lintz Funeral Home cared for the family.

Thermon (Kip) Strange
Thermon (Kip) Strange, 74 of Indian River died May 26 [2001].
His memorial service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements were made by Nelson's Funeral Home of Gaylord.

Aloysuis (Al) Suchy
Aloysuis (Al) J. Suchy, 79 of Indian River, died Saturday, May 26 [2001] at Community Memorial Hospital in Cheboygan.
A memorial mass was held Wednesday, May 30 at the Cross In The Woods. The Rev. Fr. Elston Coghill, OFM officiated and burial will be in the Shrine Cemetery in Indian River.
The family suggests memorials to the Cross In The Woods.
Lintz Funeral Home of Indian River handled the funeral arrangements.

Russell A. Amyotte
Russell A. Amyotte, 85 of Indian River, died away Sunday, Jan. 20 [2002] at Northern Michigan Hospital of Petoskey.
A Veteran's Memorial Service was held Wednesday evening at Lintz Funeral Home.
His funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Indian River United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gary Step officiating. Burial will be at the Oakhill Cemetery in the spring.
The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Cochran-Roberts VFW Post #7439 Roofing Fund.

Edward R. Schultz
Edward R. Schultz, 83 of Drummond Island, died Tuesday, Jan. 22 [2002] at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
His funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 26 at Drummond Island Lutheran Church. Deacon Charles Krahnke will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery in Wolverine in the spring.
The family suggests memorials to Drummond Island Lutheran Church or a Humane Society of Choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River.

Leslie (Lee) LaChance
Leslie (Lee) LaChance, 78 of Indian River, died Thursday, May 23 [2002] at Hospice House in Cheboygan.
There was a graveside service Tuesday, May 28 at the Oakhill Cemetery in Indian River.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Hospice of the Straits.
Arrangements were handled by Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River.

Richard T. Eddy
Richard Thomas Eddy, 57, died July 15 [2002], at home in West Bloomfield, Michigan. 
Memorial services were held Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m. in West Bloomfield and Saturday, July 20 at 1 p.m. at Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Indian River.

Larry McPhedrain
Larry McPhedrain, 69, of Port Huron died at his home Tuesday, July 9 [2002]. A memorial service was held Saturday at the Smith Family Funeral Home in Port Huron.

Herbert Goerke
Herbert Goerke, 76 of Prescott, died Aug. 13 [2002] at his home. His funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 16 by Rev. Mark Miller at Steuernot and McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. 

Clyde T. Lawerence
Clyde T. Lawerence, 62 of Indian River, died Thursday, Sept. 12 [2002] at his home. His funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 16 at the Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River. The Rev. Gary Step of the Indian River United Methodist Church officiated. Interment was at the Oakhill Cemetery in Indian River. 

Eleanora M. Mundt
Eleanora Mae Mundt, 88 of Petoskey, died Wednesday, Oct. 23 [2002] at Northern Michigan Hospital.
Her funeral services was Monday, Oct. 28 at Stone Funeral Home. Pastor David Brantley officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Friendship Centers of Emmet County.

Clifford N. Nutting
Clifford N. Nutting, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 26 [2002] at his Indian River residence.
His funeral service was held Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River. Interment will be at the Burt-Mullett Cemetery in Topinabee.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice of the Straits, Cheboygan, MI 49721. Envelopes are available at the Lintz Funeral Home.

Eugene F. Zyber
Eugene F. Zyber, 76 of Indian River, died Tuesday. Oct. 29 [2002] at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Cross In The Woods. Fr. Thomas Dominiak will celebrate the mass. Interment will be at the Shrine Cemetery in Indian River. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 with a prayer service at the Funeral home at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Monica's Catholic Church in Afton or the donor's favorite charity. Envelopes are available at the Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River. Lintz Funeral Home handled the arrangements for the family.
